Your Artisan, Frankie Boone, holds a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and Certificate in Baking Fundamentals earned from St. Philips College Culinary Arts Program. She owns and operates FrankieB Bakery, making her baked creations from scratch with intense focus on taste and design. She has worked as a baker in several well known establishments in her community while attending St. Philips College. Baking is her passion, however, a Culinary Certificate is in her sights.

Frankie has other talents that include drawing, painting and hand built pottery and has over twenty-five years experience in retail and wholesale sales. She has attended several art workshops, with a well-known local artist, in Mexico and Guatemala in pursuit of cultural art and art history education. She has attended the School of Fine Arts at the University of Kansas and Kansas City Art Institue. Her background in art has contributed to her unique style in cake and cookie designs. One of her passions is working with fondant/gum paste flowers.

Frankie also serves her community by volunteering her skills to the San Antonio Art League Museum, and currently is 5th Vice President of Hospitality. She assists the president in coordinating, purchasing and prepares much of the food and baked items for art openings and general membership meetings. She looks forward to volunteering her skills to other non-profit organizations that are centered around children and teens.
